Me Gusta Spanish School — Sucre, Bolivia

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services offered by Me Gusta Spanish School, located in Sucre, Bolivia. By enrolling in any of our courses, you agree to be bound by these conditions.

Class Booking and Cancellations

• Online Classes: Must be booked with a minimum of 5 hours, which must be used within one week. Changes to class schedules require a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Failure to provide notice will result in the forfeiture of the class.
• Face-to-Face Classes: To reschedule, notify us via WhatsApp at +591 743 25725 at least 12 hours in advance. Class packages expire after the fifth day of booking; rescheduling is only possible within this period.

Class Duration and More

• Each Spanish class session is fifty-five (55) minutes in duration. Students are expected to arrive on time to maximize the learning period.
• Materials: The book is included if you do 20 hours or more (if you do fewer hours, you need to pay for the book — it's 60 Bs). Not available in July, August, November and December due to offers.
• Teachers and Levels: We strive to maintain continuity with teachers, but changes may occur, providing exposure to different accents and teaching strategies.

Group Classes

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, morning classes from 8:25 AM to 12:30 PM. Afternoon from 14:30 to 18:30 (depends on whether we have enough students for an afternoon group).
• Students are assigned to groups based on their approximate level of proficiency. Changes to the original class plan can be made starting from Tuesday. Please note that any changes to the type of class will affect the price and modify the final cost for the student.

Private and Private Group Classes

• Schedule: Runs Monday through Friday or Tuesday to Saturday in the morning.
• Private Classes: Mostly scheduled in the afternoon; morning sessions may be available depending on classroom availability.
• Private Partner Class: Designed for 2 students of similar skill levels, offering a cost-effective and beneficial learning environment.
• Private Group Class: Designed for 2-3 students of similar skill levels, on demand of the students (priced like a partner class).

Payment and Fees

• Exchange Rates: The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) has announced the implementation of a flexible exchange rate regime, replacing the previous fixed exchange rate system. Payments in Bolivianos are accepted at the exchange rate applicable on the payment date.
• By credit card (Bolivianos): a 2.5% charge applies. Notify your bank of international transactions in advance to avoid payment issues.
• In cash: US dollars or Bolivianos (bills of 100 in the best condition, for USD).
• Online payments by card or transfer: in USD via link transfer, AirTM or others.
• Time to pay: A deposit is required on the first day, with the payment completed by the second day of lessons.

Refunds and Financial Policies

• Group Class Cancellations: No refunds or rescheduling for group classes. If a class is missed, it is forfeited.
• Private Class Cancellations: Must be cancelled at least 12 hours in advance for a 50% refund; otherwise, the class is forfeited.
• Modification: Any modification to the type of class requested will be analyzed, and a price readjustment may be made in exceptional cases.

Authorization for Use of Personal Information and Images

By enrolling, the student authorizes Me Gusta Spanish School to use the information provided during registration, including contact details such as email addresses, for future communication related to school activities, programs, updates, promotions, or other institutional purposes.

The student also authorizes the school to use photographs, videos, or other audiovisual material in which they may appear during their participation in school activities. This material may be used for promotional, advertising, or communication purposes on social media, the school's website, or other official channels.

If you do not agree with any part of this authorization, please let us know in advance.

Agreement to Terms

By enrolling in classes at Me Gusta Spanish School, you accept these terms and agree to abide by them. We reserve the right to modify these terms as necessary. It is your responsibility to stay updated on any changes.
